1. The saddest part was when Betty had a nervous breakdown. I think this because normally people get over it with the help of friends, but she had none and I think that it was very hard to live her life after what she had been through in school.
2. I would have not acted like the person in the story at all. I would have tried to befriend Betty because she was new to the school and did not deserve to be made fun of. Who knows, she could have been a very good friend.
3. The moral to this story is not to discriminate people by looks and abilities, but to take time to know them, and not to ever make fun of someone because they're diffrent. Another moral to the story was to not judge a book by it's cover.

Wow the story betty ann is really sad . The way she tried to be friends with the other girls. Instead they treated her like dirt. The answer on the first question is really good :)

Many things can hurt you, but words are the 2nd worst. Love is the first.
